Dr. Ibrahim Shahruddin, DDS

Dr. Ibrahim Shahruddin, the visionary behind iCare Dental Damansara Heights, has cultivated a reputation for excellence in the dental field through years of dedicated service and constant pursuit of knowledge. Born in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Dr. Ibrahim has always had a keen interest in the intricacies of dental health, an interest that has only grown throughout his academic and professional career.
Dr. Ibrahim received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) from the National University Of Malaysia (UKM), a notable achievement that marked the beginning of his professional journey. During his time at UKM, he demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities, holding significant roles as the president of the Dental Student Association (DENSTA) and Honorary Financial Secretary for the university’s student body (PMUKM).
His commitment to research and academia was displayed when he, along with his team, presented an award-winning research study titled ‘Variation in Root Canal Configuration of the Three Major Ethnic Groups in Malaysia.’ This work won first place in the National University Malaysia Dental Student Scientific Conference and second place at the National Dental Student Scientific Conference.
As a recognized and active member of the Malaysian Dental Association (MDA), Dr. Ibrahim has actively participated in the organization of several international conventions. His service was recognized when he was appointed the president of the 2nd MDA Student Dental Congress in 2011. His dedication to the advancement of aesthetic dentistry is also evident in his role as a council member of the Malaysian Association of Aesthetic Dentists.
In recognition of his significant contributions to the dental community in Malaysia, Dr. Ibrahim was awarded the honor of being a fellow of the International College of Dentists. This honor serves as a testament to his unwavering dedication to his profession and the dental health of his community.
Dr. Ibrahim’s pursuit of knowledge did not stop after his graduation. He believes in the principle of lifelong learning, which has led him to take advanced implant courses at University Malaysia and UITM. He further broadened his horizons by studying with the Academy of Fixed Orthodontics in New York.
As a dental professional, Dr. Ibrahim specializes in restorative and aesthetic dentistry, frequently incorporating elements of orthodontics and implantology to achieve optimal aesthetic outcomes for his patients. He is a firm believer in leveraging the latest advancements in dental technology to enhance his patients’ dental health and overall well-being.
In his free time, Dr. Ibrahim is passionate about giving back to his community. He takes part in numerous dental health awareness programs, emphasizing the importance of oral health as a component of overall health.

Dr. Nabihah Dziaruddin
Paediatric Specialist
Dr. Nabihah Dziaruddin is a highly skilled dentist who has pursued specialised training in paediatric dentistry. She completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2008. Later, she obtained a Master in Clinical Dentistry (Paediatric Dentistry) with Distinction from Queen Mary University of London, United Kingdom in 2016. She also earned a Diploma of Membership from the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in the same year.
Dr. Nabihah actively contributes to the field as a committee member of the Malaysian Association of Paediatric Dentistry (MAPD) and is a member of the International Association of Paediatric Dentistry (IAPD). Her primary interests lie in minimal intervention and aesthetic dentistry for children, dental treatment for children with complex conditions and special needs, as well as behaviour management in paediatric patients using nitrous oxide inhalational sedation.
Dr. Hanis Rahimah Binti Hassan
General Dentist
Dr. Hanis Rahimah binti Hassan is a dedicated and compassionate dentist with a genuine passion for delivering quality dental care across all age groups. She holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Penang International Dental College and is fully registered with the Malaysian Dental Council (MDC).
Dr. Hanis began her dental journey in 2022 under the Ministry of Health (KKM), where she was attached to the Oral Surgery and Paediatric Dental departments at hospital level. This foundational experience gave her hands-on exposure to both surgical and child-focused dentistry, shaping her into a well-rounded clinician comfortable with a wide range of cases.
She has a strong interest in general and preventive dentistry, focusing on long-term oral health maintenance through education, early intervention, and personalised preventive care. Dr. Hanis is also a certified Invisalign provider, with a keen interest in helping patients achieve healthier, more confident smiles through discreet orthodontic treatment.
Beyond alignment, she is passionate about aesthetic dentistry – delivering smile enhancements through minimally invasive treatments including tooth-coloured restorations and cosmetic dental procedures. Her approach to paediatric dentistry centres on creating gentle, positive experiences for children while instilling good oral health habits from a young age.
Dr. Hanis is committed to building strong relationships with her patients by actively listening to their concerns and explaining treatment options in a clear, approachable manner. She strives to create a comfortable and welcoming environment, ensuring every patient feels at ease throughout their visit.
Dr. Mohd Zulkifli Kassim
Prosthodontics Specialist
Dr. Mohd Zulkifli Kassim is a Prosthodontist and also a Dental Lecturer at the Department of Restorative Dentistry, Faculty of Dentistry, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2012. He served as a dental officer for the Ministry of Health for approximately three years before accepting a position as a Dental Trainee Lecturer at the Faculty of Dentistry, UKM.
To further his studies, he was awarded “Skim Latihan Akademik Bumiputra (SLAB)” Scholarship from the Ministry of Higher Education. He went on to complete his postgraduate programme in Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Prosthodontics) at Universiti Teknologi MARA from 2017 to 2022 as a distinction student.
As an academician, he is actively conducting research in the fields of prosthodontics, dental materials, dental implants, and aesthetic dentistry. He has more than ten years of clinical experience and is currently specialising in prosthodontics. His special interests are managing full-mouth rehabilitation (with fixed and removable prostheses), dental implants, and oral maxillofacial prostheses (intraoral and extraoral) cases.
