About our dentist
Dr. Ibrahim Shahruddin, the heart and soul of iCare Dental Damansara Heights, was born and raised in Kuala Lumpur. Specialising in restorative and aesthetic dentistry, Dr. Ibrahim has an insatiable passion for enhancing the smiles of his patients, using his deep knowledge of orthodontics and implantology to achieve the best aesthetic outcomes.
Graduating with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) from National University Of Malaysia (UKM), he served in key leadership roles during his university years. Dr. Ibrahim’s research prowess was recognised nationally, with his work on the ‘Variation in Root Canal Configuration of the Three Major Ethnic Groups in Malaysia’ receiving multiple awards.
A recognised figure within the dental community, Dr. Ibrahim holds an active role in the Malaysian Dental Association (MDA) and serves on the council of the Malaysian Association of Aesthetic Dentists. His contributions to the dental community have earned him the honour of becoming a fellow of the International College of Dentists.
Dr. Ibrahim believes in lifelong learning, continuously updating his skills and knowledge to meet the latest industry standards. His advanced training includes implant courses at University Malaysia and UITM, and further study at the Academy of Fixed Orthodontics in New York.
